Workflow Optimization in Hospital Operations

At the University of New Mexico Hospital during the pandemic, I noticed communication breakdowns in the COVID testing workflow. I took initiative to propose, develop, and implement new protocols in collaboration with department leaders. The result was reduced patient wait times and safety. It also improved staff workflows and communication. This experience reflects my strength in systems thinking and calm leadership under pressure.
